What materials do Broodwing nests need?
Recaps name sticks, large branches, moss, cattails, and dry grass under Nesting Stages. Counts (eight sticks, moss 1 of 3) stay Unverified. Read the stud line on your HUD.
Broodwing nests are the build you hunt for on Place 116189555550783 by Realistics Studios. The listing loop is short: pick a bird, fly the valley, collect materials, place a nest you can land on again, lay eggs, then raise chicks. Last listing check: November 3, 2026. Play on Roblox.
This page is the nest half of that loop. Feeding after hatch lives on how to feed chicks in Broodwing. Bird roles (Cuckoo, Raven, Bald Eagle, goose) live on Broodwing birds. Exact material counts, nest HP, and female-only gates stay Unverified until your HUD agrees.
| Fact | Detail |
|---|---|
| Place | 116189555550783 |
| Official nest loop | Build a nest, lay eggs, raise chicks |
| HUD recap | Nesting Stages + stud range to the closest mat |
| Stage recap | Sticks first, then moss; cattails and dry grass named on the same run |
| Land bind recap | Q to land; G/E recaps sit next to eat, not a second nest menu |
| Bird nest count | Bald Eagle three nests / greylag one nest — Unverified recap |
| Female gate | One launch recap said you must be female to nest — Unverified |
| Not this page | Hunger UI, hatch %, Plume timers — see chicks / codes |

To build a Broodwing nest, land, pick up the materials the Nesting Stages HUD asks for, then interact on a tree the prompt actually accepts. Recaps show a caption like “look for a spot where several thick branches meet the trunk.” If the prompt never appears, you are on the wrong fork, not missing a secret key.
Public sessions collect on the ground. One recap tried to grab sticks in the air and failed — land first. Q as the land key is an Unverified recap; follow the HUD. The beginner guide covers Space + land. Do not invent a mid-air scoop.
A dark, high fork is only “good” if Q still seats you on the rim. Recaps that built in a tight crotch then spent the hatch window missing the platform. Hide from eagles, but leave a glide line. Family share lives on families — agree who sits the nest before you leave the valley.
Fish and bunnies are listing prey. They do not finish Nesting Stages. If you are carrying a hare because a recap mashed Q and G near the nest, you are eating, not building. Eat steps belong on hunting.
Once the prompt lets you sit, the HUD, not a blog timer, tells you which mat is next.
Nesting stages in Broodwing are a HUD checklist, not a published spreadsheet. Recaps name a bottom indicator that tracks the closest object you still need, with a stud count that shrinks as you close in. Bubbles over sticks make the first pass easier than moss.
One session called out eight sticks for stage one, then moss 1 of 3, then dry grass, and mentioned cattails in the same breath. Treat those numbers as Unverified until your client prints them. The useful rule that survived the recap: if you fly past moss while hunting sticks, pick it up anyway.

| Stage recap | Named mats | Trust |
|---|---|---|
| First | Sticks / fallen branch / large branches | Unverified count (one recap: 8 sticks) |
| Next | Moss (recap: 1 of 3) | Unverified count |
| Also named | Cattails, dry grass | Named; exact slot TBA |
| HUD | Studs to closest needed object | Use live HUD over this table |
| Not a stage | Fish, bunnies, Plumes | Hunt / codes pages |
A launch recap said nest build starts with large branches and sticks. A beginner recap treated a fallen branch as a large stick, then counted “one of the eight sticks.” Same Place, two wordings. Do not merge them into a fake recipe. Carry whatever the current stage highlights.
One player worried sticks would despawn while they tested a fork. No verified timer exists on this wiki for mat despawn, egg cooldown, or nest HP. If your HUD shows a clock, believe that clock. If it does not, do not paste a number from another animal sim.
When the bar fills, landing on the cup is the next failure point — not a missing ninth stick.
Broodwing nest landings fail when you stay in the air. Recaps that mashed Control for “air brakes” made the approach worse. Come in above the cup, land, and sit. If you overshoot into the valley, chicks and eggs do not get warmed while you climb back. Q as the land key is a repeated recap — Unverified vs your HUD.
A launch recap stacked Q and G next to the nest, then immediately said you do not have to press G — hold E to eat a hare. Read that as land-then-eat, not as a two-key nest craft. Confirm binds in your client. Mobile layouts are TBA.
| Bind recap | Job | Trust |
|---|---|---|
| Q | Land on nest or ground before pickup | Repeated recap; confirm HUD |
| G | Paired with Q in one nest/eat recap | Unverified; optional even in that recap |
| E hold | Eat hare after land | Unverified eat bind |
| Control | Tried as air brake; recap said it failed | Do not copy as a nest key |
The “hard to land, so raiders miss too” trick only works if you still hit it when an egg is dying. Recaps lost eggs because the hitbox sat in a dark crotch. Test an empty nest with two landings before you lay. If you cannot sit, move the build.
After hatch, the same landing is how you sit to warm leftover eggs before you drop food. Feeding detail: how to feed chicks in Broodwing.
If you can sit the cup, the next threat is other birds, not another material name.
Other birds can threaten Broodwing nests. The listing and 16+ recaps exist because eggs and chicks can be attacked on public servers. Guard the cup. Do not treat an empty nest as safe because you finished sticks.
Stealing sticks and branches out of someone else’s nest was a recap wish, not a verified live mechanic. The player asked for a raid-the-materials loop “in the future.” Until the HUD shows a steal prompt on a foreign cup, do not plan your economy around ripping moss from neighbors.
| Threat | What recaps actually showed | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Players | Eggs/chicks can be attacked; 16+ recap during nest PvP | Sit the nest or leave a family guard |
| Raven | Hunt-babies recap on the public list | See birds page; do not AFK the cup |
| Cuckoo | Brood parasitism on the public list | Watch extra eggs that are not yours |
| Mat steal | Streamer hoped you could steal sticks from nests | Unverified — not a step |
| Bald Eagle | Predator recap; hide in cattails in one launch line | Spot choice, not a mat recipe |
No nest HP table is published. Family RP is the listing tool: one bird sits, one hunts. If you play solo, shorter forage loops beat a prettier tree. Codes/Plumes that claim faster nest build stay Unverified on Broodwing codes.
Power Rangers SPD Broodwing and Subnautica Broodwing are other IPs. They do not explain this Place’s nest raids.
Cuckoo is the named parasite on the public bird list. Next section is how that parasite uses a nest.
Cuckoo in Broodwing is listed as brood parasitism: another nest can receive a Cuckoo egg. A beginner recap described the real-world trick — lay in a foreign cup, then the extra baby tries to kick other chicks out — without naming Cuckoo in that breath. The public bird list already has Cuckoo. Treat kick-out as Unverified until you see it on this Place’s HUD.
If an egg shows a player username, recaps say it is a person, not “egg one.” Goose cups may label gosling one for NPCs. That label split belongs on the chicks page; here it only means: look at the nameplate before you assume every egg is yours.
Host birds still collect sticks and land before pickup. Parasite birds still need a cup that exists. Cuckoo does not skip Nesting Stages for the host. If you are the host, you still build. If you are Cuckoo, you still have to find a nest that is already there — exact dump bind TBA.
Raven recaps sit on hunt-babies and scavenger food, not on laying in your cup. Do not merge Raven and Cuckoo into one “evil bird” row. Roles: Broodwing birds. Rank guesses: tier list.
Nest count by species is the last Unverified table on this page.
How many nests each Broodwing bird gets is Unverified. A launch recap said a lot of people already had the Bald Eagle nest, that Bald Eagle had three nests, greylag goose had one, mallard later showed one, and raven had none in that lobby snapshot. That is a lobby count, not a species cap published by Realistics Studios.
A separate launch line said you have to be female to make a nest after you find large branches and sticks. Mark female-only as Unverified. If your male bird gets a nest prompt, believe the prompt.
| Bird (recap) | Nests shown in that lobby | Trust |
|---|---|---|
| Bald Eagle | Three nests | Unverified lobby recap |
| Greylag goose | One nest | Unverified lobby recap |
| Mallard | One (was zero earlier in the same recap) | Unverified |
| Raven | None in that snapshot | Unverified; beginner recap still nested as raven |
| Canadian Goose / Gosling / Duck / Cuckoo | TBA on this table | Use live select + HUD |
Zero raven nests in one server does not mean Raven cannot nest. The beginner recap nested as raven, collected eight sticks, and laid eggs. Prefer the HUD in your session over a snapshot from another day.
Launch tape said greylag goose. The public list says Canadian Goose and Gosling. Do not collapse those names into one row and then invent a nest cap. Confirm the select screen on Place 116189555550783.
When the cup exists, the job flips to feeding. That is the chicks guide.
Next: how to feed chicks in Broodwing so the cup you just built does not starve, then hunting for fish and bunnies, then Broodwing birds for Cuckoo and Raven.
Recaps name sticks, large branches, moss, cattails, and dry grass under Nesting Stages. Counts (eight sticks, moss 1 of 3) stay Unverified. Read the stud line on your HUD.
One recap could not. Land, then pick up. Q as a land key is Unverified. If a later patch lets you scoop in flight, follow the new prompt.
Q is the land recap. G appeared next to eat-at-nest and was called optional; E hold ate the hare. Nest craft is materials plus a valid fork, not a Q+G combo published by the developer.
Cuckoo is listed as brood parasitism (use another nest). Kicking host chicks is a recap of the real-world trick, Unverified in-game. Player raids on eggs/chicks are why some servers sit at 16+.
One launch recap counted three Bald Eagle nests and one greylag nest in a lobby. Unverified. Not a species rule until the HUD says so.
One launch recap thought so. Unverified. If your bird gets a nest prompt, use it.
