How do I fly in Broodwing?
Session recap: Space bar to fly. Look around. Land before you collect anything. There is no scent meter in Broodwing.
This Broodwing beginner guide is the first-session playbook for Roblox Place 116189555550783, listed as [Swan] Broodwing by Realistics Studios (group 721106533). You pick a bird, fly the valley with Space, land to collect, build a nest through sticks then moss, lay eggs, and feed chicks. Last listing check: November 3, 2026. Play on Roblox.
The official listing loop is fly, hunt fish and bunnies, nest, hatch, grow, and family roleplay. This page is Roblox Broodwing, not Power Rangers SPD Broodwing and not Subnautica Broodwing. Codes, bird stats, and “female only can nest” stay Unverified until your HUD agrees.

Do not open a random “Broodwing” search result. Confirm Place 116189555550783 and Realistics Studios. The listing may read [Swan] Broodwing. If the card is Power Rangers SPD or a Subnautica creature page, you are in the wrong IP. Broodwing is bird survival and roleplay on Roblox: fly a valley, hunt, nest, hatch, grow.
The first useful hour is one complete loop, not a bird-collection tour. Pick one species, learn Space and landing, fill the first nesting stage, sit a nest you can find again, eat, lay, then feed. Codes are optional until a Codes button exists. Discord is after the first fed chick, not before you can land.
| Order | Action | Why it is first |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Confirm Place ID | Codes, birds, and Discord belong to this experience only |
| 2 | Pick one bird | Controls and diet differ; a tour wastes landing practice |
| 3 | Space + land | You cannot collect sticks in the air |
| 4 | Nesting stages HUD | Studs and bubbles beat a blind valley search |
| 5 | Place a nest you can land on | Eggs die if you cannot sit the cup |
| 6 | Eat then lay | Session recap: laying costs hunger — you cannot spam eggs |
| 7 | Feed + warm | Begging chicks take your food; eggs need warmth |
| 8 | Discord last | Village Survival is patch talk, not a second HUD |
A complete trip is pick → fly → land-collect → nest → eat → lay → feed. Opening every bird in the menu without a nest trains you to crash into eagles. Finish one nest you can land on, then open the birds list if you want a second species. Next you need the two binds that actually move cargo.
Session recaps for Broodwing and the sister game Village Survival agree on the air loop: Space bar to fly, look around, then get back on a surface. There is no scent trail in Broodwing the way some recaps remember from Village Survival, so prey (hares / bunnies) is eyesight, not a smell meter.
Collecting is the first skill that fails. You cannot pick a stick while still in the air. Land, take the material, then Space again. Nesting-stages text at the bottom of the HUD points at the closest needed object with a studs distance that shrinks as you close. Materials also sit under bubbles so you can spot them off the ground.
| Control / HUD | What recaps show | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Space | Fly | Session recap |
| Land | Required before every stick / moss / cattail pickup | Session recap |
| Q and G | Mentioned together for nest; G called optional; E held to eat a hare | Unverified vs your HUD |
| Nesting stages | Closest object + studs; bubbles over materials | Session HUD |
| Scent | None in Broodwing — finding hares is harder without it | Session recap |
The nest cup is small. Recaps miss the perch unless they are right above it. Air “land” from the side fails, eggs cool, chicks beg, and you spend the minute fighting the camera instead of feeding. Practice empty landings before the first egg. The nests page owns raid and cuckoo detail; here the job is simply: can you sit your own cup on purpose.
A launch recap around the nest chapter says press Q and G at the nest, then immediately says you do not have to press G, and that holding E eats the hare. Treat those letters as one player’s keyboard, not an official controls card. If your HUD shows different prompts, follow the HUD. Do not invent extra binds.
Once Space and landing are boring, pick a bird you can actually feed. The next section is the select screen, not a fake stat sheet.
The public list used on this wiki is six names: Duck, Bald Eagle, Raven, Cuckoo, Canadian Goose, Gosling. Stats, HP, and “best bird” ranks are TBA. Color gamepasses (melanistic / leucistic ducks, leucistic bald eagle) are third-party recaps and stay Unverified as pay-to-win.
A launch recap on October 24, 2026 names a bald eagle (predator), a greylag goose (grazer), a mallard (dabbler, “looks like a duck”), and a raven (scavenger). Those diet words are useful as playstyle hints. They are Unverified against the six-name public list: greylag goose may be the same slot as Canadian Goose; mallard may be the Duck slot. Do not treat greylag / mallard as extra species until the select screen prints those strings.
| Name you may see | How recaps use it | Wiki status |
|---|---|---|
| Duck | Public list; launch “mallard / dabbler / cattails to eat” | Public list; mallard string Unverified |
| Bald Eagle | Public list; predator; cannot graze; eats meat; kills smaller birds | Public list; diet Unverified numbers |
| Raven | Public list; scavenger; can graze in one recap; fewer nests on the select board | Public list |
| Cuckoo | Public list; brood parasitism — lay in another nest, chick kicks others | Public list; live prompt TBA |
| Canadian Goose | Public list; launch also says greylag goose / grazer | Public list; greylag string Unverified |
| Gosling | Public list; NPC goose young labeled “gosling one” in one recap | Public list |
If you want a nest without hunting meat, recaps point at goose / raven grazing grass and drinking water. If you want to hunt, bald eagle is the predator slot — and the thing other birds hide from in cattails and near waterfalls. Cuckoo is a nest war, not a calm first nest; read birds and nests before you main it. Gosling is a young bird, not a third goose species.
Broodwing does not dump a finished nest under you. The HUD tracks nesting stages. Session HUD: first stage wants a bunch of sticks (a recap counted one of eight sticks, plus large fallen branches). Second stage wants moss (HUD flash: moss one of three). Cattails show up in the same material talk — grab them when you fly over, even if the current stage is still sticks. Later stages in the same session asked for dry grass, then down feather as the last lining.
Follow the studs. The closest needed object prints a distance that shrinks. Bubbles sit over the pickup. Moss is easier to miss than sticks, so take moss when you pass it during stage one. One recap parked a nest far from water and then spent the lining stage commuting; another noted geese like to nest near water, which is safer for drinks and worse for goose PvP.

| Stage (session HUD) | Collect | Note |
|---|---|---|
| First | Sticks / large branches | Recap: eight sticks; must land to pick each one |
| Second | Moss | HUD: moss 1 of 3; grab early while hunting sticks |
| Also named | Cattails | Collect when seen; mallard recap also eats cattails |
| Later lining | Dry grass, then down feather | Down feather called last stage in one session |
| Site filter | Forks where thick branches meet the trunk | Not every tree holds a nest |
Recaps describe flying into another nest and taking sticks or branches you still need. Treat a live steal prompt as Unverified until you see it: the same beginner session also frames nest-theft as a system they hoped the game would add. If your HUD offers a steal interact, you can use it; if it does not, gather from the ground. Do not invent a raid cooldown.
A launch recap says you have to be female to make a nest, then immediately hedges (“I’m pretty sure”). Mark that Unverified. Build when the HUD lets you build. Sex, pack invites, and “invite an adult male bald eagle to hunt” are roleplay hooks from one session, not a wiki rule.
When the cup exists, the hard part is landing on it and keeping eggs warm. Capture still for that miss sits with the landing nest frame on this page. Full raid / cuckoo layout: nests.
After lining, recaps unlock lay an egg. Laying costs hunger: you eat between eggs; you cannot spam a clutch. One raven session thought the cap was five eggs with a cooldown on how many you can put down at once — treat five as that HUD, not a global species table.
Empty slots can hatch as NPCs. Recap labels: a generic NPC egg reads egg one; a goose NPC young reads gosling one. A player egg shows a username. Players can join later from the menu and replace an NPC even after hatch — Unverified how long an NPC adult stays. Typical joins arrive around fledgling, not as a lifelong AI partner.

When a chick begs, the working recap is: eat on the ground, fly up, give them your food. Goose babies were described as feeding themselves more; raven feeding was figured out live. Warm eggs before you leave if the HUD complains. Miss the landing and the clutch starts dying. Step-by-step hunger UI lives on chicks once that HUD is dumped; here the rule is commute food without losing the perch.
Launch recap: about eleven minutes to a young mallard; five minutes recalled for Canadian goose to the next stage. Those are one player’s clock, not official growth tables. Plumes from code aggregators are said to speed hatchling → adult — Unverified until a Codes button and a Plume tooltip exist. Do not plan a timer alarm on eleven minutes.
Families and pack invites (adult male bald eagle as hunter) belong on families. Hunt routes belong on hunting.
Bald eagles kill smaller birds. Recaps hide in cattails and use waterfalls because eagles were described as not following there — Unverified as a hard rule, useful as a first panic path. Geese can be “chill” or the opposite; they like water nests, so a shoreline cup is a PvP neighborhood. One session guessed a goose attack would also end a raven.
Cuckoo on the public list is brood parasitism: lay in another nest, then the chick kicks the other young. A beginner recap described that trait without naming the bird (“flockadoo”). If a chick in your cup is not yours, treat it as a cuckoo problem, not a cute extra. Raven recaps elsewhere hunt babies — watch the cup when you commute food. Servers have sat at 16+ during Roblox maturity review because nest / egg / chick PvP is the product.
| Threat | What to do in hour one |
|---|---|
| Bald eagle | Do not graze in the open as a small bird; cattails / waterfalls are the recap hide |
| Goose on water | Shore nests are convenient and contested |
| Cuckoo | Foreign chick in the cup — parasitism, not a bonus baby |
| Landing miss | Eggs cool and chicks starve while you circle |
| Wrong wiki | Power Rangers / Subnautica pages will not teach Q, Space, or moss |
Launch recap: hares last about two minutes thirty seconds before they disappear; there is no scent. If you have babies, do not hunt far from the nest. Hold E to eat was the same recap’s pickup. Fish and bunnies are the official listing prey — named valley spots stay TBA on hunting.
Use this as a pre-egg checklist. Almost every fail is a process error: wrong Place, collecting in the air, skipping moss, nesting on a tree that rejects the cup, or laying while hungry.
| Mistake | Fix |
|---|---|
| Joining a non-Roblox Broodwing | Place 116189555550783 · Realistics Studios only |
| Collecting in the air | Land first, then pick sticks / moss / cattails |
| Ignoring nesting-stages studs | Follow the closest object; bubbles mark pickups |
| Skipping moss during sticks | Moss is scarcer — grab it when you see it |
| Nesting on a random canopy | Need a fork of thick branches at the trunk |
| Side-landing the cup | Come in from directly above before eggs exist |
| Spamming eggs | Eat between lays; hunger is the gate |
| Leaving eggs cold | Warm, then commute food |
| Maining Cuckoo first | Learn a legal nest on nests before parasitism |
| Pasting codes on roblox.com/redeem | Only an in-experience Codes button — how to redeem |
| Trusting greylag / mallard as extra species | Unverified labels vs Duck / Canadian Goose |
| Skipping Discord until the game “dies” | discord.gg/ez3t9nPVY6 is the Village Survival server for bird drops |
Before you lay, look at the nesting-stages line and the cup: can you land on it twice in a row with empty feet? If yes, eat, lay, feed. If no, keep practicing the approach. Then open codes only if a button exists, and Discord for Village Survival announcements — not for a fake in-page Discord screenshot.
Next: Broodwing codes if a Codes button exists, then the birds list, then nests and how to feed chicks.
Official Discord is the Village Survival server: Broodwing Discord (discord.gg/ez3t9nPVY6).
Session recap: Space bar to fly. Look around. Land before you collect anything. There is no scent meter in Broodwing.
You must land to collect. A launch recap mentions Q and G at the nest and says G is optional, with E held to eat a hare. Confirm the prompt on your HUD — do not treat this wiki as a keybinder.
HUD stages: sticks / large branches first, then moss (session: moss 1 of 3). Cattails are worth grabbing when seen. Later lining: dry grass, then down feather. Follow studs and bubbles.
Recaps describe taking sticks or branches from another nest. Treat the live prompt as Unverified until you see it — one session also wished steal would be added.
Unverified player guess from a launch recap. Nest when the HUD allows it.
Public list of six: Duck, Bald Eagle, Raven, Cuckoo, Canadian Goose, Gosling. Launch recaps also say greylag goose and mallard — Unverified names vs that list, not extra species until the select screen agrees.
Cuckoo is on the public list. Parasitism: lay in another nest; the chick kicks other young. A beginner recap described that trait without naming Cuckoo.
Recap: eat, return, give the chick your food, and land on the nest to warm eggs. Full page: chicks guide. Hunger numbers TBA.
No. Oct 28 recaps said no codes system; later aggregators list Plume strings. If there is no Codes button, skip to hunt and nest.
